Visiting Park College to speak to a group of students Lib Dem parliamentary spokesman Stephen Lloyd said:

"The purpose of the visit was to address a class of students as part of their Moving On programme. Having just completed their AS levels the students are now beginning to think about future careers. I was invited in by the Politics Teacher, Tracey Davanagh, to talk to them about all the different job opportunities linked to politics. For instance, press and media, campaigning and policy research. I really enjoyed meeting the students and they're obvious political interest, across the spectrum, pay testament to how many young people today are very engaged and aware of key local and national issues. An impressive group."
