Campaigner Troy Tester is working with Langney Lib Dem Councillors Rob Slater, Irene Sims and Jon Harris to improve road safety for local residents. Top priority is the need for a safe road crossing on Larkspur Drive near the junction with Milfoil Drive. A huge petition has been collected calling for action on this issue.

Troy Tester said, "It is ludicrous that we do not have a safe crossing so near schools and the homes of many families with young children."

Troy is also campaigning to get the speed limits on a number of local roads reduced to 30mph. Troy said, "Many residents have raised this as a matter of great concern on the doorstep, particularly regarding Friday Street, Langney Rise, Hide Hollow and Willingdon Drove. Slowing traffic on these roads would make a real improvement to safety."
